Event #1: Health Libraries Australia

The Health Libraries Australia (HLA) group of ALIA (the Australian Library and Information Association) will be holding a satellite event on Thursday 9 July, immediately following the EBLIP8 conference. This event will be held in Brisbane and is aimed at health librarians.

In keeping with previous events, the HLA PD Day will be a low-cost, high-value opportunity to keep up to date, acquire new skills and network with vendors and colleagues. The program for the day consists of six, three-hour workshops and participants will be able to choose two to attend.

Location: Level 5, P Block, QUT Gardens Point Campus, Brisbane

Time: 9am – 5pm

Event #2: Connect & Share Sessions

Meet your colleagues and specialists from Queensland University of Technology, University of Queensland and Griffith University.

The aim of these sessions is to provide an opportunity for you to meet with colleagues from specialist areas for one hour in a group setting. Specialists in the areas of Research Support Services, Information Resources and Learning Support will be available to chat informally about projects, share experiences, exchange ideas and information.
