It sounds like a rumor - I could be wrong, though. The result is the absolute mutilation of a treasure trove of visual and conceptual cinema. One anonymous poster on this cartoon's YouTube page noted a strong resemblance to the Fleischers' version of Lois Lane--she's a little more cartoony than that, but not by much. I remember being a kid and assuming that the voice actor was Alan Young, just sick or dying or something. Flowers' other puppets included Crazy Mary, an escapee from Bellevue mental hospital who speaks in a Brooklyn accent portrayed by Flowers. She tells the latter that she feels so "Boo-Boop-a-Doop" when she meets her boyfriend's father. The character now speaks in a baby Brooklyn accent and also has her own quote: Apr 25, Messages:
