A sharp scraper is key - sharpen it constantly. The mask was so horrible, that it left a notch and bruise on my nose from hours of it digging into my face. When working around windows be very careful as the heat gun can crack and break glass. I come back with a sharp scraper and get the "crumbs" of paint that are still holding on, and also scrape inside corners before using any chemicals. Play safe by wearing heavy work gloves, and clean the blade of the scraper frequently. Air out the house several days after using the stripper to ensure that smelling the fumes does not cause damage.
